Flexible cutting for complex projects
Abrasive CNC waterjet cutting uses a high-pressure stream of water and abrasive to cut detailed shapes from sheet, plate and other stock. Unlike thermal cutting processes, waterjet does not concentrate heat in the part. That makes it useful for materials, dimensions and edge conditions where warping, hardening or thermal distortion are concerns.
Valley Waterjet accepts inquiries ranging from a single unusual bracket to repeat production runs. Send a DXF, DWG, STEP, PDF, SVG, dimensioned drawing, photo or sketch. We review the geometry, material, thickness, quantity and timing before preparing a project-specific quote.
Functional prototypes, replacement parts and low-volume custom pieces.
Repeatable cutting for short runs and ongoing component needs.
Profiles, holes, slots, brackets, flanges, signs and nested parts.
Cold cutting helps preserve the material near the cut edge.
Files and project information
Clean CAD geometry is the quickest starting point, but a production-ready file is not required for an initial review. Include the material, thickness, quantity, important dimensions or tolerances and preferred completion date. If all you have is a worn part, photo or rough sketch, send it and explain what the finished component needs to do.
Additional manufacturing support
Qualifying projects may also include machining, welding, fabrication and engineering support. Tell us about the complete finished-part requirement—not only the cut profile—so the quote can account for downstream work.
Service questions
Can waterjet cut thick material?
Waterjet is commonly chosen for thick plate, but suitability depends on material, geometry, tolerance and finish requirements. Include the exact thickness in your quote request.
Do you accept small jobs?
Yes. One-off parts, prototypes, repairs and short runs are welcome alongside production inquiries.
Will my part need finishing?
Requirements vary by application. Tell us the desired edge quality and finished use so the correct cutting and secondary-operation assumptions can be included.
